Bio
I am a Seattle-based and German-born composer and producer. My musical output reaches back into the 1980s when I first experimented with field recordings and ambient sounds inspired by Brian Eno, David Sylvian and others.
Over the years I recorded a number of pieces, some jazz, fusion, pop and post-rock infused, some of rather classical, experimental and drone based nature, drawing further inspiration from the likes of Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass as well as Jon Hassell, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Max Richter and Johann Johannsson to just name a few.
Using a mix of electronic, electric and acoustic instruments as well as samples and field recordings I intend to build passages through imaginary landscapes, taking the listener on journeys that can be calming or brooding, real or otherworldly or anything in between.
